CBRE appoints two new regional CEOs

Global agency CBRE has appointed Martin Samworth as new Chief Executive Officer of Europe, Middle East and Africa and Danny Queenan as Chief Executive Officer of its Asia Pacific region

Global real estate group CBRE has appointed two regional Chief Executive Officers.

Martin Samworth is CBRE’s new Chief Executive Officer of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region and Danny Queenan is Chief Executive Officer of the Asia Pacific (APAC) area. The appointments are effective immediately.

Mr Samworth was previously Managing Director, EMEA. He will continue to report to Michael Strong, Executive Chairman, EMEA, who retains overall responsibility for the region.

Mr Queenan previously served as Chief Operating Officer, APAC, where he shared management responsibility with Robert Blain, Executive Chairman, APAC. In his new role, Mr Queenan will oversee operational management of APAC while Mr Blain will retain overall responsibility for the region. Mr Queenan will continue to report to Mr Blain over his APAC responsibilities.

In addition, Mr Queenan continues to serve as Chief Executive Officer of CBRE’s development services subsidiary, Trammell Crow Company, a role in which he reports to Bob Sulentic, President and Chief Executive Officer of CBRE.
