American real estate agents have joined forces with Britain’s AIPP to drive standards up as buyers flock back to Florida in 2014.
A delegation of Florida real estate agents, sponsored by one of the world’s biggest housebuilders, Lennar, has joined forces with the Association of International Property Professionals (AIPP) to build professional standards in international property. The delegation, led by Patricia Tan, the National Association of Realtors® President’s Liaison to the United Kingdom, is at the UK’s biggest exhibition – A Place in the Sun Live – this weekend, among 15 to 20 Florida exhibitors at the show.
Pat Tan said: “I am thrilled to be leading this delegation at a time when we are seeing a growing demand for Florida properties from British and other European buyers. The USA is a highly regulated real estate market that affords buyers and sellers protection. We are excited to work with AIPP members who have agreed to be bound to high ethical standards and professionally represent American real estate to the British consumer.”
